🏢 About RWJF Local Data for Equitable Communities
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is offering grants to support projects that leverage local data to understand and address inequities affecting health and well-being. Health is broadly defined as a product of physical, economic, and social conditions within communities.
🎁 Benefits of RWJF Local Data for Equitable Communities
- Each selected organization will receive a grant of $50,000.
- Projects must be completed within a nine-month period.
✅ RWJF Local Data for Equitable Communities Requirements
- Awards will be made to organizations, not individuals.
- Applicants must be nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
Not Eligible to Apply:
- Universities (nonprofit, public, or private).
- State and local government agencies, including public health departments, school districts, and public schools.
- Private foundations or nonfunctionally integrated Type III supporting organizations.
Additional Eligibility Criteria:
- Organizations that are fiscally sponsored by an eligible tax-exempt 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) organization are eligible. The fiscal sponsor must provide the total award amount to the organization performing the program activities, minus the fiscal sponsorship fee.
- Applicant organizations must be based in the U.S. or its territories.
- Applicants cannot be current grantees of the Local Data for Equitable Communities program.
- Organizations may only submit one proposal.
- Applicant organizations may collaborate with other organizations for their projects. However, only one eligible nonprofit organization may represent the collaboration as the applicant.
- The applicant organization must play a substantive role in the project.
