Rising Stars is an online mentorship program by People Powered designed to connect individuals with expert guidance to launch and improve participatory programs. The program matches advocates, policymakers, and program managers (mentees) with on-the-ground experts (mentors) to address specific questions and challenges.

The program is implemented in collaboration with Coglobal under the Nets4Dem project. Coglobal manages participants within the Horizon Europe area, connecting them with experts from the Nets4Dem network.

• Activists in civil society organizations and governments seeking approval for participatory programs.
• Government officials and community partners planning participatory programs.
• Staff in government and civil society organizations responsible for implementing participatory programs.

📝 Application Process

Follow these steps to apply and participate in the mentorship program:

1. Apply Online

2. Prepare for the Program
   Attend an online orientation session to learn about the program’s goals, expectations, mentoring process, and available resources. Applications will be reviewed, and mentors will be assigned based on criteria such as program type, language, location, and challenges.

3. Meet Your Mentor or Mentoring Group
   Schedule a call with your mentor to discuss challenges and set goals. You will have up to three calls with your mentor or mentoring group over the course of six months.

4. Achieve Your Goals
   Gain the confidence, knowledge, and skills to run a more successful participatory program!
