Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) 2026-2027
The Association of Commonwealth Universities is now accepting applications for the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) for the academic year 2026-2027. This is a fully-funded scholarship program designed for students from Commonwealth countries to pursue a two-year Masterβs degree in another Commonwealth nation.
π About the Scholarship
The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) aim to provide talented students from Commonwealth countries with the opportunity to study abroad, build global connections, and contribute to their home countries upon completion of their studies.
π Benefits
Recipients of the QECS will receive the following benefits:
- Full tuition fees.
- Living allowance (stipend) for the duration of the award.
- Return economy flights to the host country.
- One-off arrival allowance.
- Research Support Grant (available on request, subject to approval).
β Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the QECS, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen or refugee in a Commonwealth country.
- Apply to study in a country other than their home country/country of citizenship.
- Refugees should apply as citizens of the country granting them refugee status.
- No upper age limit.
- Hold a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
π Application Date and Process
Application Process:
- Complete and submit a QECS application for your chosen university/course by clicking the βApply nowβ button.
- If you donβt already have a myACU account, you will need to create a new account to get started.
- Each year, there are two application cycles:
- Cycle 1: Opens in November/December.
- Cycle 2: Opens in March/April.
- You only need to submit one application, but you are welcome to apply again if there is another country you are interested in studying in.
