π About the Programme
The Phoo Pwint Sa Incubation Programme is designed to empower young entrepreneurs in Myanmarβs cultural and creative sectors. It combines practical training, mentorship, and funding to help participants turn ideas into sustainable businesses. The programme targets innovators in fashion, esports, video game development, and Webtoon creation, offering a comprehensive ecosystem for skill development, business growth, and networking.

Participants of the programme will enjoy the following benefits:
- Workshops & Masterclasses (12 Modules): Training in Creative Economy, Design Thinking, Business Modeling, Startup Finance, Team Leadership, Branding & Marketing, Risk Management, Legal & IP, and Professional Pitching Skills.
- One-on-One Mentoring (38 Hours): Personalized guidance from experts in Branding and Communication, IP Legal and Contracting, Business Development, Finance, Accounting, and Human Resource Management.
- Seed Funding Opportunity: At the end of the programme, all 12 entrepreneurs will pitch to an evaluation committee. The 6 outstanding projects will receive equity-free seed funding from a total pool of $50,000.
- Creative and Technical Skill Development (150 Hours): A tailor-made creative and technical skills development programme according to the needs of the artists.
- Throughout the programme, participants will receive workshops, masterclasses, and training from both local and international experts to reinforce their creative and technical skills.
β Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Myanmar citizens residing in Yangon.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Projects at idea or prototype stage in the specified priority areas.
- Availability of at least 20 hours per week over 9 months for workshops, mentoring, and programme activities.
- Applications accepted individually or as teams.
- Women-led businesses are especially encouraged to apply.

Steps to Apply:

Prepare a detailed project proposal including:
- Description of your idea or prototype.
- Target audience and market potential.
- Team qualifications and expertise.
- Alignment with one of the four priority areas.

Submit the application through the Phoo Pwint Sa online portal.

Ensure availability for programme participation for the required 20 hours/week over 9 months.

Await notification of pre-selection and invitation to the full programme.
