The One Young World - Pernod Ricard Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications! This scholarship aims to identify and connect 10 young leaders who are committed to creating positive social spaces and addressing harmful drinking practices in their communities. Scholars will receive full funding to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 - 6 November 2026.

🏢 About the Scholarship

Social gatherings and moments of celebration are essential for fostering safe and responsible spaces where people can build and sustain healthy social interactions. Pernod Ricard is committed to transforming these occasions into authentic experiences of conviviality and sharing, ensuring they are enjoyed responsibly and inclusively, with or without alcohol.

The scholarship will bring together an interdisciplinary team of 10 young leaders who are actively working to build positive social spaces and tackle the harmful effects of excessive alcohol consumption in their countries and communities.

🎁 Benefits of the Scholarship

Selected scholars will receive the following benefits:

• Participation in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town as a Pernod Ricard delegate.
• Hotel accommodation in Cape Town from 2 - 6 November 2026 (inclusive).
• Round-trip travel to and from Cape Town (economy flights).
• Catering: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the Summit.
• Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.
• Access to Pernod Ricard professionals for consultancy and guidance.
• Collaboration with other scholars to influence Pernod Ricard’s strategies on socializing and reducing excessive alcohol consumption.
• Participation in collective sessions with guest speakers to share insights and ideas.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Successful applicants will share the ambition to encourage positive social occasions and address harmful drinking. They will be actively making an impact through their own projects, leadership roles, or research.

Relevant Activities:

• Initiatives promoting balance and moderation.
• Prevention and education programs aimed at reducing excessive alcohol consumption.
• Projects addressing the harmful impacts of excessive drinking.
• Initiatives fostering inclusive and safe social spaces.
• Research on social habits, behavioral patterns of Gen Z, and the role of alcohol in socializing.
• Efforts to improve physical and psychological safety in social environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be of legal drinking age in their country of residence at the time of application.
• Must be available to participate in post-Summit collective thinking sessions with other scholarship recipients.
