🎁 Benefits of OECD CRP Research Fellowship

The Fellowship award consists of three components collectively referred to as the travel lump sum allowance. The total allowance depends on the distance from the Fellow's laboratory to the host institution and the number of weeks of the fellowship.

Fellowship Benefits:

  • Travel Costs: Calculated based on a return economy class air ticket. Covers one return trip to and from the host laboratory and the place of domicile.
  • Weekly Subsistence Allowance:
    • 600 EUR or 650 EUR per week (depending on the cost of living in the host country).
    • Covers normal living expenses (accommodation, food, etc.) and incidentals (daily travel to and from work).
  • Terminal Charges: A lump sum allowance of 165 EUR.

βœ… Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Institution Location:

    • Applicants must work in an institution located in a country participating in the OECD Co-operative Research Programme (CRP).
    • The collaborating host institution must be located in another participating country.
  2. Postdoctoral Training:

    • Applicants should have 4 years of postdoctoral training.
    • The programme is not targeted at PhD students. Exceptional cases may be considered for applicants without a PhD but with equivalent expertise and extensive publications.
  3. Employment Contract:

    • Applicants must have a contract with their current employer ensuring continued employment after the fellowship.
    • If the contract is less than 3 years, the institution must certify ongoing scientific affiliation with the host laboratory after the fellowship ends.
  4. Employer Agreement:

    • Applicants must have their employer's agreement to apply and take up the fellowship if successful.
  5. Previous Fellowship Recipients:

    • Candidates who have previously received a CRP fellowship may apply for a second award, but only 5 years after their first fellowship.
