🖼️ About OCA International Support for Artists and Art Professionals

The Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) International Support Scheme aims to help Norwegian and Norway-based artists expand their international presence. It supports participation in global exhibitions, cultural projects, and professional platforms, while encouraging the creation of new artworks for international audiences.

🎁 Benefits of OCA International Support

International Travel Support: Funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Budget for 2026: 2,300,000 NOK.
International Production Support: Funded by the Ministry of Culture and Equality.
Budget for 2026: 3,200,000 NOK.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to:

Norwegian and Norway-based artists, curators, and other art professionals invited to participate in exhibitions or projects abroad.
Art institutions and curators abroad who invite Norwegian or Norway-based artists, curators, and other art professionals to participate in exhibitions and other projects abroad.

Additional Notes:

Artists collaborating as a group can apply together in a single application.
Separate applications must be submitted for each exhibition or project.
If an institution or curator applies for International Travel Support on behalf of an artist, the artist may submit a separate application for International Production Support, provided this support has not already been applied for by the institution or curator.

Not Eligible:

Projects or exhibitions that have been previously applied for and evaluated by the OCA jury.
Applicants who are students when the project applied for is taking place (PhD fellows are exempt from this rule).
Norwegian institutions or organizations with annual public funding.
