✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed their first year of PhD level studies at the time of application.
- Majors must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related area.
- Must be engaged in active research as part of their PhD thesis.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time active PhD student during the 2026-2027 academic year (9 months). Applicants should not expect to graduate before May/June 2027.
- Must be available to complete an in-person summer internship prior to the Fellowship year at one of NVIDIA's research offices in the United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan.
- Cannot be immediate family of a current NVIDIA employee.
- The award must be administered through the student's university; payment will be made to the university, not directly to the student.
📅 Application Date and Process
Graduate Fellowship Applications Must Include:
- Research summary/thesis proposal (up to 2 pages, plus bibliography).
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV) including contact information.
- Professor nomination letters (minimum of 2 letters, including one from the thesis advisor; up to 3 letters maximum).
- Confirmation of availability for an in-person summer internship.
Submission Process:
- Complete the student profile in the Submission Portal.
- Input your application details, including research summary, thesis proposal, and resume (CV).
- Add contacts for recommendation letters. An email will be sent automatically to each recommender. Notify your professors/recommenders early in the process.
- Monitor the status of recommendation letters in the portal. Ensure all documents are received before submitting.
- Submit the final application when all items are complete.
