🏢 About the Programme
The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) is offering a six-month internship opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals. This programme is ideal for individuals with a background in:
- International Affairs
- Political Science
- Public Policy
- Law
- Development Studies
Participants should have an interest in civil society and non-profit management.

This internship is fully funded by WACSI and includes:
- Flight to and from the intern's home country.
- Furnished accommodation during the internship.
- Lunch on working days.
- Monthly stipend for the duration of the internship.
Accommodation Details
- Interns will gain hands-on experience in capacity development, policy influencing and advocacy, and knowledge management.
- Interns from Guinea, Niger, and Togo will be based in Accra, Ghana, with full accommodation provided.
- Interns from Nigeria will be based in Abuja. Applicants must already reside in Abuja as no accommodation will be provided.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the programme, applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of a first degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Be young professionals from Nigeria, Guinea, Niger, or Togo.
- Demonstrate an interest in civil society and non-profit organisation management.
