Opportunity Overview

The Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) is now accepting applications for its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Fellowship 2026. This fellowship is designed to support emerging futures and foresight practitioners in the MENA region, providing them with funding, mentorship, training, and networking opportunities to drive long-term, systems-level change.

🌍 About the NGFP MENA Fellowship

The NGFP MENA Fellowship, organized in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation through the Global Futures Society, aims to empower practitioners across the MENA region. The fellowship focuses on fostering impactful projects that address long-term challenges and systemic change.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the NGFP MENA Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The project impact must be based in the MENA region.
  • Applicants must hold nationality from the MENA region.
  • Be aged 18–35, or older with less than 1 year of foresight experience.
  • Demonstrate a passion for systems-level change and long-term impact.
  • Be committed to learning, collaboration, community, and network-building.
  • Work on challenges related to:
    • Climate & Just Transitions
    • Democracy & Sustainable Development
    • Emerging Technologies
    • Futures Methods From Around the World & Indigenous Futures
    • Intergenerational Fairness
    • Nuclear Security
    • Peacebuilding
