Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Fellowship 2025
The Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) Fellowship 2025 invites applications from visionary young professionals and emerging practitioners in the futures and foresight field. This fellowship is designed for individuals aged 18-35 at the beginning of their foresight journey, as well as those over 35 years old with less than one year of experience in the sector.
📖 About the Fellowship
Foresight is a systematic approach to engaging with uncertainty by exploring alternative futures, including aspirational ones. It is not about predicting the future but understanding the current and future operating environment. Insights gained from foresight equip communities and organizations to recognize and respond to emerging threats and opportunities, fostering competitiveness, resilience, and agility.
A foresight practitioner uses a futures approach to explore and understand the impacts of long-term factors and drivers of change. They aim to generate insights for decisions made today and are particularly focused on social and environmental good.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 18-35 years old, or older with less than one year of experience in futures and foresight.
- Interest in expanding futures and foresight knowledge and networks.
- Commitment to community and network building.
- Working on a brave, pioneering, futures-focused project idea for lasting systemic change, which can be enhanced or scaled using foresight.
- Collaborative, life-long learners with a long-term vision for impact (10+ years ahead).
- Open to applicants from anywhere in the world, with a focus on individuals from Asia, Africa (including MENA), the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Pacific Islands, and the Balkans.
