To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must:

• Be aligned with the mission of the New Roots Institute.
• Be enrolled in school for the 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 academic year.
• Be able to learn and communicate in English.
• Have consistent, reliable internet access capable of supporting video conferencing.
• Be able to join all live, synchronous sessions on the scheduled dates and times from a computer, in a quiet location, with the camera on.
• Be willing to complete all assignments and project work on time.
