Net Zero Challenge (NOC) is a global climate technology innovation competition organized by Touchstone Partners and Temasek Foundation. The goal is to find solutions to tackle climate change in Vietnam by identifying and supporting early-stage innovations and teams that have the potential to revolutionize the way we address environmental challenges at scale.

This year, the challenge seeks innovative and feasible solutions that can contribute to the removal of carbon emissions and drive positive change in three key areas:

Focus Areas

1. Renewables & Carbon Removals

   • Solutions that drive the adoption of renewable energy sources and contribute to carbon removal.
   • Breakthrough technologies and scalable projects that enhance carbon sequestration, improve energy efficiency (e.g., transportation, alternative materials in construction), and solutions for carbon markets.

2. Food Systems & Sustainable Agriculture

   • Tech-enabled solutions that enhance food production, improve agricultural practices, and promote sustainability in the face of climate change.

3. Circular Economy & Waste Management

   • Innovative solutions to reduce waste, promote recycling, and transform waste into valuable resources.

✅ Net Zero Challenge Requirements

Your team is eligible to join if your solutions meet the following criteria:

• Technology-based: Includes software, AI, hardware, deeptech, food-tech, agritech, new materials, new energy technology, new processes, innovations in bio or chemical engineering, and tech-enabled business models.
• Minimally viable product: Demonstrates potential for widespread adoption, commercial viability, and scalability.
• Suitable for Vietnam context: Addresses the country's specific challenges and opportunities for implementation.
• Clear plans: Includes pilot projects and implementation routes in Vietnam.

4. Supporting Information
