🎁 Benefits

Monthly stipend for Postdoctoral Research Scientists: Rs. 125,000.00
Research expenses: Up to Rs. 1,000,000 per year for up to 2 years (requires justification).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a citizen of Sri Lanka and currently residing in Sri Lanka.
Be registered with the STMIS database of the NSF and committed to full-time research.
Hold a PhD obtained within 2 years from a recognized university.
Demonstrate proven research, development, and innovation experience (e.g., publications in refereed journals, patents, etc.).
Submit a research project addressing an issue identified as a national research priority.
Ensure the duration of the research project does not exceed 2 years.
Have laboratory space and facilities at the host institution to undertake the proposed research work (assurance from the Head of the Institution is required). If facilities are unavailable, provide assurance from another institution that the required facilities will be granted.
Having a collaborator from the relevant industry is an added advantage.

Applications for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are accepted throughout the year.
