✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Moldova Fulbright Visiting Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Moldovan citizen and a long-term resident of the nation, including those residing in Transnistria.
• Commit to returning to Moldova for at least two years after program completion.
• Be eligible for a J-1 visa.
• Hold a doctorate (PhD) or possess comparable professional/academic experience.
• Submit a clear and feasible research proposal in one of the program’s approved fields.
• Demonstrate strong English language skills for academic research, instruction, and collaboration.
• Obtain medical clearance prior to travel.
• Note: Clinical professionals (medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing, or careers involving direct patient care) are not eligible.
