The Max Thabiso Edkins Youth Ambassador Program is seeking its next cohort of global young changemakers to learn about and act on pressing global challenges. Delivered by the World Bankโs Youth2Youth (Y2Y) community in partnership with Connect4Climate (C4C), this program honors the legacy of Max Thabiso Edkins, who believed youth inclusion is vital for shaping a resilient future.
This fifth edition offers global youth the opportunity to:
- Deepen their knowledge of the worldโs most urgent development challenges.
- Collaborate to innovate responsive solutions.

โ Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be 20-30 years old.
- Be studying, entering the job market, or building a career in a relevant sector.
- Have an interest in advancing sustainable growth for a livable planet in one or more of the following sectors:
- Energy
- Water
- Agribusiness
- Gender equality
- Health
- Tourism
- Digital innovation
- Be curious, motivated, and eager to learn and grow.
- Be passionate about sustainability, green jobs, and the future of your community.
- Be committed to collaboration, collective action, and exchanging diverse ideas and perspectives with peers globally.
