📖 About Malawi - Youth Sounding Board (MW-YSB)
The Malawi Youth Sounding Board (MW-YSB) is an initiative aimed at bringing young Malawians closer to the European Union's cooperation policy. It seeks to make the policy more participatory, relevant, and effective for young people. The MW-YSB serves as a platform for creativity and exchange, enabling members to share their perspectives and contribute to the European Union's work in Malawi.
🎁 Benefits of Malawi - Youth Sounding Board (MW-YSB)
- Participation is voluntary, but costs incurred during activities will be reimbursed by the EU Delegation.
- Members will:
- Receive training.
- Attend at least four meetings annually.
- Participate in field visits.
- Provide reports/feedback.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MW-YSB, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be Malawian nationals residing in Malawi.
- Be aged between 18–30 years.
- Be creative, motivated, and interested in development cooperation.
- Have a strong interest in education, vocational training, and employment.
- Possess a good command of spoken and written English.

- Application Deadline: 28th December 2025 (11:59 PM, Malawi time).

Selection Process
The selection process will occur in two stages:
- First Stage: Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the outcome by 9th January 2026 (tentative).
- Second Stage: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews by 15th January 2026 (tentative).
