✅ Eligibility Criteria

The fellowship is open to:

  1. Scholars at Risk:

    • Scholars experiencing or recently experiencing direct risks such as threats of violence, harassment, intimidation, or imprisonment.
    • Scholars facing general physical risks from active conflicts in their country of origin.
  2. Research Focus:

    • Applicants are expected to pursue their own research, which can relate to any region in the world.
    • Ideally, the research should be related to contemporary, public, or digital history (broadly understood).
    • Fellowship holders will be assigned to one of the research departments and will be asked to present their current project in a seminar or colloquium.
