🎁 Benefits of the Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prize
Selected recipients will receive two components of financial support:
- DKK 150,000 as a personal award for the researcher.
- DKK 350,000 allocated for research activities.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prize, nominees must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Scientists under 30 years old (the nomination deadline is the cut-off date). Rules for leave of absence apply.
- Research Focus: The nominee must be working on scientific research that contributes to a better understanding or improvement of health and biomedical sciences. Research along the entire value chain, from basic to clinical, is encouraged.
- Location: The bulk of the research described in the nomination must be conducted in Denmark.
- Institution: Recipients must be conducting research at a Danish research institution at the time of the award.
- Re-nomination: Previous nominees may be re-nominated if they still meet the eligibility criteria.
📝 Application Process
Applicants must submit the following:

Statement (max 5000 characters):
- Describe the nominee’s talent and provide examples of their role in and contribution to original scientific achievements.
- Highlight the scientific and/or societal impact of their work.
- Include contributions to science dissemination (e.g., teaching, public engagement, outreach activities) or how discoveries have been applied to improve lives.
Examples to include:
- Original Scientific Achievement(s): Developing a method or model, creating a novel tool, publishing impactful research, etc.
- Dissemination: Teaching, public engagement, science communication, involvement in diversity/innovation/entrepreneurship/leadership organizations, etc.
- Application of Discoveries: Using scientific insights to improve societal or patient conditions.
