📝 About the Fund
This programme is aimed at registered charities, CICs, and CIOs that are led by and working for Deaf and Disabled people. It supports organisations working directly with Deaf and Disabled people to help them:
- Gain more choice and control over their lives.
- Access their rights and entitlements.
- Challenge barriers they face.

This year, 41 grants will be awarded across England and Wales.
🎁 Benefits
- Organisations can apply for a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000.
- Up to £500 of accessibility support is available to enable applications, including:
- BSL interpreters
- Language translation
- Scribes
- Dyslexia software
✅ Eligibility Criteria
For Registered Charities and CIOs:
- Must be registered with the Charity Commission (England and Wales) or the Index for Charities (Isle of Man).
- Have at least one set of annual accounts showing as ‘received’ on the Charity Commission website.
- Have a Board of at least three trustees who are unrelated and listed on Charity Commission records.
For Community Interest Companies (CICs):
- Must be Limited by Guarantee or Limited by Shares under Schedule 2 and registered with Companies House.
- Articles of Association must show an asset lock and name the organisation to receive assets on dissolution.
- Have at least one set of annual accounts filed with Companies House and a CIC Annual Report (CIC34).
- Have at least three unrelated Directors registered with Companies House.
- No Director should hold more than 50% of voting rights or have sole authority to remove other Directors.
General Requirements for All Organisations:
- Must be based and working in England, Wales, or the Isle of Man.
- Annual income between £25,000 and £500,000 in the latest published accounts.
- Have a bank account in the organisation’s name with unrelated signatories.
- Majority of people in positions of power must not be related or live at the same address.
- Must have a track record of delivering services for at least one year to people aged 18 and over.
- Services must not include religious activity unless specifically supporting people of that faith.
- Therapy/counselling providers must be registered with Professional Standards Authority accredited registers.
- Must have a safeguarding policy and a Designated Safeguarding Lead/Officer trained appropriately.
- Hold Public Liability Insurance.
- Be an independent organisation with full control over its work.
- Existing grants with Lloyds Bank Foundation must end before December 31, 2026.
