The One Young World Summit is the premier global forum for young changemakers, bringing together over 2,000 leaders from 190+ countries to solve humanity's biggest challenges. For young St. Louisans, this summit represents a rare and powerful honor to represent not just their state but their nation on the world stage.

The Leading St. Louis Scholarship will support exceptional young leaders living and making an impact in the St. Louis, Missouri area to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, from November 3-6, 2025.

This opportunity provides cultural fluency, expanded ambition, and a sense of shared destiny with global changemakers. Participants will return with actionable insights, global partnerships, and inspiration to fuel local change in St. Louis.

Recipients of the scholarship will receive:

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.
• Hotel accommodation in Munich from November 2-6, 2025 (inclusive).
• Travel costs to and from Munich.
• Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Residency: Living and making an impact in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.
• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the USA.
• Age: Between 18-30 years (exceptions may apply; see below).
• Passport: Hold a valid passport.
• Demonstrate:
  • Leadership Capabilities & Potential: Proven leadership experience in professional, academic, or community settings with measurable outcomes and examples of mobilizing others or leading change.
  • Impact & Social Contributions: Commitment to positive change in St. Louis communities with tangible results aligned with sustainable development goals.
  • Alignment with One Young World Values: Embodiment of the mission for a fair, sustainable future, with openness to cross-cultural collaboration and long-term commitment to change.
  • Motivation & Personal Vision: Clear articulation of how the Summit connects to personal and professional goals, with a compelling vision for post-event impact.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to represent St. Louis with clarity, authenticity, and professionalism on a global stage.

Note: Most delegates are aged between 18 and 30. Applications from individuals older than 30 may be considered if they demonstrate appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. Applications from individuals under 18 at the time of the Summit will not be accepted.
