📖 About One Young World Roche Scholarship

The Roche Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for young leaders working in healthcare and sustainability to attend the One Young World Summit in Cape Town, South Africa. This scholarship supports NHS professionals who demonstrate a commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare.

🎁 Benefits of One Young World Roche Scholarship

Scholars will receive:

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town.
• Hotel accommodation in Cape Town in a private room between 2-6 November 2026 (inclusive).
• Travel costs to and from Cape Town (economy class).
  • Scholars will be responsible for booking their own flights and will be reimbursed.
• Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner (provided by the hotel and during the Summit).
• Transportation costs between the airport and hotel via public transport.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Age: 18 to 35 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2026.
• Nationality: Nationals of all countries are eligible to apply, but applicants must:
  • Be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Hold a position in the NHS or in an organisation working in partnership with the NHS.
• Understanding of key local and/or global issues.
• Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions.
• Commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare.
• Applications from individuals aged under 18 at the time of the Summit will not be accepted.

This programme is designed for young leaders within the NHS who have demonstrated a commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare. Examples of such innovation may include:

• Tackling the causes and effects of health inequalities.
• Creating or implementing innovative methods of treatment or diagnosis to enhance the patient care pathway.
• Reducing emissions or burdens on natural resources, such as through decarbonising healthcare supply chains.
