King's College London is inviting applications for the Research Associate Programme 2025, funded by the Wellcome Trust. This project aims to advance understanding of the lived experiences and support needs of minoritised ethnic people with multiple long-term conditions. It seeks to transform how healthcare providers, communities, and policymakers construct, respond to, and support these individuals in local and national contexts.

The post holder will be based at the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine, an interdisciplinary community connecting social scientists, biomedical researchers, and clinicians to explore the complex social determinants of health, illness, and ageing from a global perspective.

🛠 About the Role

The programme is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on this exciting study. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing qualitative data collected.
  • Preparing high-quality outputs and disseminating research findings to different audiences.
  • Completing administrative tasks related to the study.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), offered on a fixed-term contract until August 31, 2027. The role provides the opportunity to gain experience conducting research in diverse settings, using innovative techniques, and collaborating with community organizations and policymakers.
