• Scientific production must fall within one of the award’s branches, as stipulated in the fifth article of the regulation.
• Adherence to recognized scientific methods in all elements of submitted work.
• Scientific production must demonstrate authenticity, leadership, and innovation, providing significant impact in the applicant’s field of specialization.
• Work submitted must not have been previously submitted for another similar award.
• Previous winners can only be nominated after five years have passed since their win, and must submit different scientific production.
• The award’s secretariat is not obligated to return submitted work, regardless of the outcome.
• Employees of the King Salman Center for Disability Research, or members of the award's authority or committees, are not eligible for nomination.
