Each project can receive funding up to:

200,000 Euro
250,000 Euro (if the Egyptian partner is the coordinator of the project)

Funding is divided into instalments and disbursed upon the acceptance of periodic technical and financial progress reports. The funds will be disbursed in Egyptian Pounds.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the STDF International Cooperation Grant Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Egyptian PhD holders affiliated with universities or research centers
Applicants must not currently be principal investigators on more than two ongoing STDF projects or team members in three projects
Private sector partners may participate with their own funding
