π About InfraVision International Competition
InfraVision is organizing an international competition in 2025 under the theme "The City as Network: Reimagining Urban Infrastructure." This competition invites creative minds from diverse fields such as architecture, urban planning, engineering, economics, public policy, computer science, and more to collaborate and present innovative ideas.
Participants will propose solutions to enhance urban infrastructure over the next 30 years, focusing on areas like:
- Design and Planning
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Technology Integration
- Decarbonization
The competition aims to transform urban networks, including transportation, energy, telecommunication, waste, and water management.
Key Highlights:
- Participants will receive feedback from a jury of experts, led by Sadie Morgan (co-founder of drMM), along with other prominent public figures.
- The competition provides an excellent platform for students to showcase their skills, raise their profiles, and establish industry contacts.

Prizes:
- β¬10,000 Euros for the 1st-placed team
- β¬7,000 Euros for the 2nd-placed team
- β¬3,000 Euros for the 3rd-placed team
β Eligibility Criteria
- Teams can consist of 1 to 5 members.
- There are no specific requirements regarding faculty or disciplinary composition. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged but not mandatory.
- Team members must have active student status during the academic year 2024-2025.
π What is Expected from Contestants?
Submission Requirements:
- A memo of up to 10 pages or 30 slides describing the projectβs vision and roadmap.
- Optional visual representations such as sketches, digital/physical models, or diagrams.
Assessment Criteria:
- Design Quality: Functionality and integration within the urban environment.
- Sustainability: Long-term environmental and social impact.
- Innovation: Creative solutions and use of new technologies.
- Overall Impact: Contributions to urban connectivity and quality of life.

How to Apply:
Each team must send an email to contact@infravision-thinktank.com with the following details:
- Names, school and department affiliations, degrees studied, and expected graduation dates of all team members.
- A concise overview of their project (1-3 sentences).
- Contact details (email and phone number of the team's contact person).
