✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IJURR Writing-Up Grants, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a PhD student in urban or regional studies.
- Hold nationality from a low- or middle-income country (as classified by the World Bank).
- Priority will be given to applicants who completed prior degrees in low- or middle-income countries.
- Must have completed fieldwork and begun dissertation writing.
- Plan to submit their dissertation ideally within 6 months of the award (from April 2026).
- Not eligible if previously awarded an IJURR studentship.
📅 Application Date and Process
Required Documents:
- Completed application form.
- Two academic references.
- Evidence of registration in a suitable PhD program.
Important Notes:
- Late applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Due to the high volume of applications, individual acknowledgments will not be provided.
- Successful applicants will be informed by the end of April 2025.
