The Ernst Cramer and Teddy Kollek Fellowship Programme supports young journalists from Germany and the Middle East in engaging in cross-cultural exchange and gaining professional media experience.

Participants of the programme will receive:

  • No remuneration for journalistic work on-site.

Applicants must:

  • Be 21–37 years old.
  • Work as employees, trainees, or editors in media organizations.
  • Be from Israel, Arab countries, or Germany.
  • Demonstrate strong English proficiency (German is advantageous but not mandatory).

Application Requirements:

  • A detailed CV with a passport photo.
  • A letter of motivation.
  • A journalistic appraisal written by the head of department or editor-in-chief. The appraisal letter should:
    • Support the application.
    • Guarantee temporary leave of absence for the duration of the program.
    • Serve as evidence of journalistic experience.
  • Samples of previous work (optional).

Benefits
