π About the Programme
The Ernst Cramer and Teddy Kollek Fellowship Programme supports young journalists from Germany and the Middle East in engaging in cross-cultural exchange and gaining professional media experience.

Participants of the programme will receive:
- β¬5,000 (stipend money + β¬1,000 travel allowance).

- Note: Scholarship holders are expected to contribute a portion of their own expenses.
- No remuneration for journalistic work on-site.
β Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be 21β37 years old.
- Work as employees, trainees, or editors in media organizations.
- Be from Israel, Arab countries, or Germany.
- Demonstrate strong English proficiency (German is advantageous but not mandatory).

Deadline: 15 June, 2026
Application Requirements:
- A detailed CV with a passport photo.
- A letter of motivation.
- A journalistic appraisal written by the head of department or editor-in-chief. The appraisal letter should:
- Support the application.
- Guarantee temporary leave of absence for the duration of the program.
- Serve as evidence of journalistic experience.
- Samples of previous work (optional).

Benefits
- Each fellow of the programme receives a one-time payment of 5,000 euros (stipend money + 1.000 euros travel allowance).
- The amount is intended to cover most of the participantβs travel expenses, board and lodging. Scholarship holders are expected to make a certain contribution of their own.
- There is no remuneration for any journalistic work on site.
