π About the Program
The HIIA Future Leaders Program is designed to provide young talents and recent graduates with an interest in foreign policy the opportunity to engage in the work of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA).
During the program, fellows will:
- Conduct research under professional mentorship.
- Participate in the work of HIIA's research groups and project management group.
π Benefits
HIIA offers additional funding for international fellows who do not have a residence permit in Hungary:
- Round-trip travel provided by HIIA.
- A fixed monthly financial support for accommodation costs.
π Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Be recent graduates (minimum: bachelorβs degree) with an interest in foreign policy.
- Be under the age of 30.
- Hold a degree in one of the following fields (related fields will be considered on an individual basis):
- International Relations
- Philosophy
- Political Science
- History
- Diplomacy
π Application Process
To apply, candidates must:
- Complete the application form.
- Upload the following attachments:
- CV (maximum two pages).
- Cover letter (maximum one page).
- Writing sample of 3000-5000 characters (including spaces).
- Proof of English language proficiency (minimum C1 level).
Note: All documents must be submitted in English. Selected candidates will be interviewed by HIIA colleagues.
