✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Graduate Equity Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Enrollment:
  • Must be enrolled as graduate students at SJSU for the Fall/Spring 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Must complete at least 6 units in each academic term (Fall and Spring).
  • A total of 12 units must appear on the master's candidacy form.
  • Coursework taken to complete program prerequisites does not count toward this requirement.
• Academic Standing: Applicants must be in good academic standing.
• Financial Need:
  • Fellowship is aimed at economically disadvantaged students who have demonstrated success in overcoming financial barriers to their education.
• Exclusions: Credential students are not eligible for this fellowship.
• Diversity Encouragement: The program encourages applications from students who have successfully navigated financial challenges, promoting a diverse pool of candidates.
