📖 About Google for Startups Growth Academy

Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for Gov Tech is a three-month program designed for EMEA-based Seed to Series A startups. The program focuses on startups using AI to develop solutions that support governments and enhance communities in critical sectors such as:

• Agriculture
• Cybersecurity
• Education
• Energy
• Housing
• Transportation
• Manufacturing

Program Highlights:

• Workshops, mentoring, and networking events to help founders develop data-driven strategies for acquiring new customers and partnerships.
• Tools to innovate responsibly with emerging technologies.
• Support to expand into new markets.

After the initial three months of core content, startups will continue to receive product support and mentorship from Google to address their challenges.

• Kickoff and graduation sessions: Held in person (locations to be announced).
• Rest of the program: Conducted virtually.

To qualify for the program, startups must meet the following requirements:

1. Stage: Seed to Series A startups currently based in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, and looking to scale internationally.
2. Focus: Startups using AI to innovate in government technology in areas such as:
   • Digital public services
   • Smart cities
   • Digital infrastructure
   • Public health
   • Education
   • Energy
   • Environmental and climate response
   • Safety and security
3. Traction: Startups must have demonstrated traction (e.g., funding, users, revenue).
4. Scalability: Startups must have a scalable product or service with:
   • A significant total addressable market.
   • A defensible growth model.
