Girl Up India invites you to GIRL TANK — a two-day virtual pitch competition where shortlisted participants will present their ideas for climate action to a panel of expert “Sharks.”

📖 About Girl Tank: Pitch. Power. Planet

Girl Tank: Pitch. Power. Planet is a two-day event empowering girls aged 13–18 from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Nepal to pitch innovative, STEAM-driven solutions to climate challenges. This event aims to bridge the gender gap in STEAM by fostering entrepreneurial thinking, public speaking, and bold, market-ready ideas.

Event Highlights:

1. Day 1 (June 28, 2025):

   • Features a panel with inspiring leaders in STEAM.
   • Announcement of winners of Round 1.

2. Day 2 (June 29, 2025):

   • A Shark Tank-style pitch competition where 10 finalists present live to expert judges.
   • Winners will be announced on the same day.

Girl Tank celebrates creativity, confidence, and community, offering mentorship and project awards to 4 top ideas that demonstrate real-world impact.

• The top 4 winners will receive up to $1000 in project grants.
• Winners will have the opportunity to lead real-world change through their innovative ideas.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To participate in Girl Tank: Pitch. Power. Planet, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Age: 13–18 years.
2. Location: Open to participants from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Nepal.
3. Gender Identity: Self-identified girls.
4. Focus Area: Must propose STEAM-driven solutions to address climate change.
5. Team Composition: Applications are open for individuals or teams (maximum 4 members).

Note: It is not mandatory to be a Girl Up member to apply.
