✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of the participating countries:
  • Botswana
  • Ghana
  • Kenya
  • Namibia
  • Nigeria
  • Senegal
  • South Africa
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
• Age: Under 30 years old as of January 1, 2027.
• Education: Hold a university degree.
• Language Proficiency: Good knowledge of German (minimum B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Interest: Demonstrated interest in politics and social/political engagement.

1. Recent language certificate.
2. Letter of motivation (in German, max. two pages, signed personally).
3. Copy of passport or identity card as proof of citizenship of a participant country.
4. University degree certificate (original or certified copy in English or German).
5. Letter of recommendation (in German or English) from a professor, teacher, or employer assessing your suitability for the IPS program.
