Opportunity Overview

📖 About the Fellowship

This year-long cohort program is offered through the Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity (CGWHGE) at Johns Hopkins University. It provides sponsored mentorship and select coursework to practitioners, professionals, and scholars engaged in gender equity work, including those focused on gender-based violence (GBV), particularly in low- and middle-income settings.

  • Note: No compensation will be offered for the participant’s time. Participants are encouraged to discuss their participation with their employer, especially regarding coursework or meetings during working hours.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be from and currently living/working in a low- or middle-income country.
  • Not be a current master’s student.
  • Be currently working in the gender/GBV field, or studying in a PhD, Postdoc, or Junior Faculty position focused on gender/GBV.
  • Demonstrate some research experience, monitoring and evaluation skills, and/or exposure to statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, etc.).
  • Have professional working proficiency in both written and spoken English.
