π« About the Program
The College of Radiographers is dedicated to promoting and supporting research at all levels of the radiography profession. The FoRRM scheme is designed to:
- Enhance and develop research skills.
- Elevate the radiography research profile.
- Support specific research outputs.
- Aid personal and career development.
Participants will have access to pre-launch training, a launch event, and ongoing training and networking opportunities throughout the program.
π Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the FoRRM scheme, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a SoR member based in the UK.
- Currently work within diagnostic imaging or therapeutic radiography, with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
- Have completed a Masterβs level postgraduate degree before the program start date (November 2025).
- Not currently undertaking a PhD or ProfD qualification.
- Plan to work in a research capacity in radiography.

Applicants must attend the following mandatory events:
- Tuesday, November 4, 2025 | 10:00β11:30 | Online pre-launch mentee training.
- Wednesday, November 12, 2025 | In-person launch event at SoR | CoR HQ (London, SE1 2EW).
Travel and Accommodation:
- Travel expenses will be covered by the College of Radiographers.
- Accommodation requests will require approval by the Executive Director of Professional Policy.
- For those unable to travel, reasonable adjustments will be discussed with the project team.
