📖 About FirstRand IHE Delft Water Education Scholarship

The FirstRand Foundation, the corporate foundation of South African financial institution FirstRand Limited, has partnered with IHE Delft Institute for Water Education for a five-year initiative. This partnership allows an outstanding South African student to pursue postgraduate studies at IHE Delft in the Netherlands. The scholarship is now in its fourth year.

🎁 Benefits of the Scholarship

• Full funding for one student per year to pursue an MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to outstanding South African students.
• Applicants must apply and be accepted for one of the following thematic tracks:
  1. Water, food, and energy
  2. Water hazards, risks, and climate
  3. Water and health
  4. Water resources and ecosystem health

Selection Criteria:

Candidates will be assessed based on:
