The European Union Diplomatic Programme for the Enlargement Region, funded by the Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST) of the European Commission, aims to:

  • Create a unified β€˜esprit de corps’ and strengthen knowledge in EU affairs.

The curriculum includes joint activities with the European Union Diplomatic Academy, funded by the European External Action Service (EEAS).

Required Documents

Candidates must submit the following documents by 10 June 2026 at midnight (CET):

  1. CV (max. 2 pages) in English, highlighting relevant professional experience in EU affairs and/or EU accession.
  2. Motivation letter (max. 1 page).
  3. Written statement signed by their Head of Department/Directorate/Unit endorsing the candidature.
  4. Supporting documents, such as:
    • University diploma
    • Language certificate (if applicable)
