• Applicants must hold a PhD.
• Evidence of academic work, including publications, must be provided.

Practitioner’s Track

This track is tailored for professionals working in fields related to international politics, policy, or security. Projects in this track should:

• Draw on practical, real-world experience.
• Offer insights into policy or operational challenges.
• Contribute to a broader understanding of international political dynamics.

📝 Application Process

Applicants must submit a complete application consisting of:

1. Application form
2. Letter of motivation
3. Project proposal (maximum 5 pages, including abstract) outlining:
   • Research questions
   • State of the field
   • Work plan and timeline
   • Expected outputs
   • Added value of conducting the project in Bonn
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 2 pages)

Additional Requirements for Academic Track

• PhD certificate (certified)
• Full list of publications
• 2–3 recent academic publications (in English)
