The Eremuak Fellowship at Art Omi: Artists is an exceptional opportunity for artists living and working in the Basque Country. This program is designed to provide uninterrupted time for artistic exploration while fostering cultural exchange, dialogue, and critical reflection among a diverse cohort of artists working across disciplines and practices.

🎁 Benefits of the Fellowship
Art Omi covers core living and working costs during the residency. The benefits include:
- Private bedroom in shared living quarters.
- Private studio space.
- Three prepared meals per day.

Artists' Responsibilities:
- Travel costs to and from the residency.
- Art materials and production costs.
Note: Travel grants may be available in accordance with Art Omi fellowship guidelines.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
- Have completed submitted work within the past 10 years.
- Be out of school at the time of application.
- Have at least five years of professional experience as an artist.
📝 Application Process
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- Resume/CV reflecting at least 5 years of professional experience as an artist.
- Short biography in narrative form.
- Artist Statement.
- Statement of Intent (what you expect from this experience).
- Portfolio:
- 8 images OR links to 3 video excerpts.
- Alternatively, 5 images AND 1 video.
- Video excerpts must be no longer than 1 minute each and preferably downloadable via Vimeo.
- Embedded videos are not accepted; videos must be accessible via an external browser or downloadable.
- Brief descriptions for each image or video submitted.
