🌍 About the Opportunity

As part of its linguistic and educational cooperation, the Embassy of France in Nigeria is launching a call for applications to support the creation of Digital Resource Centers in Nigerian universities.

This project aims to:

• Enhance French language learning.
• Develop students’ transversal skills.
• Strengthen their employability.

Project Objectives

• Facilitate access to digital educational resources in French.
• Strengthen students' digital capabilities and professional skills.
• Support universities in modernizing French language teaching.
• Promote pedagogical innovation and international partnerships.

🎁 Benefits

Selected universities will receive:

• A maximum funding envelope of €15,000 per university.
• Funding for digital equipment, training, and pedagogical activities.
• Encouragement for institutional contributions, such as:
  • Provision of staff.
  • Allocation of physical space.
  • Internet access and other resources.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Universities

• Public or private accredited universities in Nigeria.
• Must have a French department or a French language teaching program.
• Commitment to:
  • Dedicate a physical space for the center.
  • Ensure its medium-term operation.

📝 Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following:

1. Quality of the pedagogical project and relevance of proposed activities – 30%.
2. Institutional capacity (human resources, infrastructure, management) – 20%.
3. Expected impacts on students and the development of transversal skills – 20%.
4. Project sustainability (medium- to long-term commitments) – 15%.
5. Proposed partnerships (businesses, local/international institutions) – 15%.

Steps to Apply

1. Fill out the application form.
2. Submit an application file, including:
   • Project description note (max. 5 pages).
   • Detailed provisional budget.
   • Commitment letter from the Vice-Chancellor or university leadership.
   • CVs of key individuals involved.
   • Photos or plans of the proposed center space (optional but appreciated).
