The Eco Future Grant Programme is designed as a capacity-building tool to support Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in areas of management and innovation by engaging with actors and learning from best practices.
📖 About Eco Future Grant Programme
The Eco Future Grant Programme, funded under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), aims to enhance the impact of CSOs in addressing climate change and biodiversity protection. The programme provides CSOs with resources and expertise to develop innovative projects focused on:
- Climate change mitigation
- Biodiversity conservation
- Nature-based solutions to enhance climate resilience
Objectives:
- Increase the capacity of CSOs to achieve net-zero emissions and nature-positive climate action goals.
- Enhance civil society’s participation in policy and decision-making processes related to climate change and biodiversity, particularly at the local level.
- Operate a technical assistance and grant mechanism, including capacity assessment, strategy determination, training, and evaluation of sub-grants.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have a legal personality.
- Be non-profit.
- Be a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) (association, foundation, federation/confederation, non-profit cooperative).
- Be established in accordance with civil society legislation in Türkiye or have their headquarters in Türkiye.
- Must not be established to support public institutions, organizations, public services, or personnel.
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the partner(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
Eligible Partners:
Partners must meet the same eligibility criteria as applicants. Additional eligible entities include:
- International NGOs, particularly those based in the EU.
- Municipalities and local governing bodies.
- Development agencies.
- Unions (producer, professional, and central associations).
- Chambers (industrial and professional chambers).
- Public schools.
Partnership Requirements:
- Partners are obligated to sign the mandate and partnership agreement provided in the application forms.
