ECHOES ECCCH Second Call for Engagement and Collaboration Grant Program 2026
Applications are now open for the ECHOES ECCCH Second Call for Engagement and Collaboration Grant Program 2026. This program aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHIs) by providing funding, tools, and support to strengthen digital skills, harmonize practices, and expand the use of shared digital infrastructure across Europe.
📖 About the Program
The ECCCH Call 2 is designed to help CHIs participate in the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage. It offers resources to:
- Enhance digital skills.
- Support the use of shared digital infrastructure.
- Promote collaboration among European CHIs.

- Access to shared digital infrastructure.
- AI-based analysis tools.
- 3D digitization and reconstruction technologies.
- Support for virtual exhibitions and educational applications.
- Funding for capacity-building and training initiatives.
- Opportunities to collaborate with European CHIs and research institutions.
Funding Details:
- Each selected project can receive up to €29,800, released in two installments.
- A total of 20 projects will be funded.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a non-profit cultural heritage institution (CHI) or an umbrella/network organization.
- Be located in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe associated country.
- Submit the proposal in English.
- Demonstrate the capacity to engage and support a broad CHI community.
Priority Consideration:
- CHIs with strong communication plans and the ability to mobilize and support multiple institutions will be prioritized.
