✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Professional experience: 2–5 years of professional journalism experience.
    • Applications may also be considered from individuals with investigative reporting experience in related fields (e.g., authors, researchers, or creators of investigative documentaries, exhibitions, or photo/video research projects).
  • Global opportunity: Open to eligible candidates regardless of location.
  • Diversity encouraged: Applications are encouraged from under-represented groups in journalism.
  • Placement city: Determined by the Fellowship Committee, subject to applicable immigration requirements.
  • AI-generated proposals: Proposals generated by AI will be disqualified.
