Disability-Inclusive Climate Action in the Pacific Region 2026
The Global Disability Fund is currently accepting applications for its Disability-Inclusive Climate Action in the Pacific Region 2026. This initiative aims to accelerate and scale disability-inclusive climate action across Pacific island countries by driving long-term, system-wide change. Funded programs will strengthen climate preparedness, response, and recovery in ways that reflect the rights, needs, and leadership of persons with disabilities.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applications must be submitted by an eligible Lead Partner registered locally or regionally, including:
- National or international NGOs.
- Development banks.
- UN agencies.
- Academic institutions.
Consortium Requirements:
- Must include at least one formal Organization of Persons with Disabilities.
- Demonstrate meaningful collaboration with relevant government entities.
- Show evidence of co-financing or resource leverage from other climate finance sources (strongly encouraged).
📝 Application Process
The application process consists of two stages:
1. Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Screened for eligibility and technical quality.
- EOIs must score at least 70/100 to be shortlisted.
- Geographic and thematic balance will be considered.
2. Full Proposal Submission
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit full proposals.
- Proposals will be assessed by an independent review panel against predefined criteria.
