βœ… Eligibility Criteria

Nominee Requirements:

  • Nominees must be between 16 and 24 years old at the time of nomination. They may be 25 years old when the award is received.
  • Must have been carrying out their social action work for a minimum of 12 months, demonstrating sustained impact, commitment, and sustainability.
  • Their work must align with one of the following Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) thematic areas:
    • Quality Education – Empowering individuals to reach their full potential and break the cycle of poverty.
    • Reduced Inequality – Challenging discrimination and promoting equity for all.
    • Good Health & Wellbeing – Recognizing the critical role of mental and physical health in building thriving communities.
    • Climate Action – Taking urgent action to protect the planet for future generations.

Nominator Criteria:

  • Self-nominations are not allowed.
  • The nominator must be over 18 years old.
  • The nominator must know the nominee in a professional capacity.
  • The nominator cannot be related to the nominee.
  • The nominator must provide the contact details of two additional Supporters to validate the nomination.
  • Supporters must also know the nominee in a professional capacity (not a friend or family member).
  • Each Supporter must complete a Supporter Statement in English, confirming the nominee’s impact, character, and credibility.
  • The nominator must consent to sharing their personal information, including their name and email address, with the nominee.
  • The nominator must submit three pieces of additional evidence to support the nomination. These may include photographs or videos, press coverage, reports, or testimonials. All additional evidence must be in English.
  • The nomination should include as much detailed information as possible about the nominee and the specific social action work being recognized.
