About the Programme 📚
The Danish Institute for Human Rights welcomes applications to its new Global Visiting Researcher Programme. The programme aims to:
- Strengthen existing and develop new research collaborations with academics primarily based in the Global South and other underrepresented regions.
- Focus on thematic areas closely connected to the international work of the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
- Promote equitable collaboration and mutual exchange.

Selected researchers will receive the following support:
- Researcher stipend/honorarium to support stays in Denmark.
- Coverage of travel and visa costs to/from Copenhagen.
- Coverage of accommodation costs in Copenhagen.
Eligibility Criteria ✅
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Strong background in human rights research.
- Affiliation with an academic institution in the Global South.
- Demonstrated academic excellence through publications.
- A feasible and relevant research proposal aligned with programme themes.
Application Process 📝
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Current CV (maximum 3 pages).
- One relevant publication in English or French.
- A detailed description of the proposed project, including:
- Aims.
- Methods and methodology.
- Proposed output (1-5 pages).
