✅ Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the DDSA Visit Grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Enrollment/Employment Status:
- Be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, or employed as a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher at a university at the time of the planned visit.
- Alternatively, the visit must take place within one year of completing your enrollment or employment at the university.

Host Institution:
- The visit must take place at a Danish university or Danish research institution.
- A confirmed agreement with a supervisor at the host institution is required. Use the DDSA Letter of Support template.

Relevance:
- The purpose of the visit must align with the DDSA Research Scope.
Additional Notes:
- Applications can be submitted year-round and will be processed within 6 weeks.
- Applications must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the start of the planned travel activity.
- Applicants can receive one grant per year.
- Supervisors can host up to three visit applicants per calendar year.

- Letter of Support from the host institution/host supervisor, vouching for your scientific qualifications and the potential scientific outcome of the visit.

📊 Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Motivation and Purpose:
- The scientific purpose and intended outcome of the visit in relation to the DDSA Research Scope.

Letter of Support:
- The host institution/host supervisor’s endorsement of the visit’s relevance to the DDSA Research Scope.
Important Note:
Applications that do not meet the eligibility and documentation requirements will be rejected without further consideration.
💵 Payout of Grant
- Grants will be awarded based on approved budget posts and transferred as a reimbursement of actual costs.
- The payout will be made to the applicant’s personal account after submission of a final report and account.
