The American Psychological Foundation COGDOP Graduate Student Scholarships aim to assist graduate students of psychology with research costs associated with their masterβs thesis or doctoral dissertation.

- Amount: 9 scholarships of up to $5,000
β Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.
- Graduate students enrolled in an interim masterβs program or doctoral program are eligible to apply.
- If a student is currently enrolled in a terminal masterβs program, they must intend to enroll in a PhD program.
- Students at any stage of graduate study are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be enrolled in the graduate program at the time grants are awarded.

Required Materials
Applicants must submit the following:
- A brief proposal of the thesis or dissertation project (even if in progress β 10 pages max, not including references).
- Department endorsement.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Transcript (an unofficial/student copy is acceptable).
