✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Reside in Whistler, Pemberton, or Mount Currie.
- Work or volunteer for:
- A registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), or
- A non-profit registered with BC Societies.
- Exhibit:
- Community involvement.
- Leadership qualities.
- Consideration for others.
- Outstanding personal qualities.
- Preference will be given to applicants pursuing opportunities related to:
- Community development.
- Social work.
- Psychology.
- Business.
- Wish to pursue a professional development opportunity, such as:
- Post-secondary education.
- Workshops.
- Seminars.
- Other educational opportunities.
- Commit to using the skills and experiences gained to improve the quality of life in the Whistler, Pemberton, or Mount Currie areas.
- Have lived and worked in the area for at least one year and plan to remain in or return to the area after completing the program.
